It is our belief, that only those who have experienced life at sea and faced problems on ships, can teach fresh engineers and pass on the sense of reality and adventure in the class room. Hence our faculty includes senior Chief Engineers who have had a long tenure at sea and served on a variety of ships. All Marine Engineering subjects are handled by our permanent faculty who have a wealth of experience at sea and ashore. Other faculty who handle non Marine Engineering subjects also bring to their job years of experience in their respective fields. Sailing Chief Engineers involved as visiting faculty, also teach Marine Engineering subjects and share their sea experience.

This is one training programme where the practical aspects of the job are emphasized. Whatever is taught in the classrooms and workshops is directly applicable on board ships. We believe the ability of our faculty to enthuse students and to interact and clear their doubts as one of our major strengths

The extensive experience at sea and exposure to the teaching field makes the post sea course also very effective. The skill courses are conducted by trainer with practical skills and training experience all the course are very result oriented.

	Total Experience	52 years out of which 22 years in Commissioned Officer from 1975 batch of the Indian Army. Has 30 years of Administrative Experience.
	Experience	He was responsible For the Administration of a Multi-Speciality Hospital and a Famous Engineering College. Now he the entire Administative Functions of the Institute.
